Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Friday, September 5th, 2025

The City of Savannah kicked off its annual 912 Day celebration today with the return of the “9 Days of 912” scavenger hunt, a community-wide activity running through Sept. 12.

Residents and visitors are invited to follow clues, find each discovery, take a photo and post on social media by tagging @cityofsavannah on Instagram or Facebook and using the hashtag #Sav912Day. Participants can compete for prizes by visiting the correct locations throughout the nine days.

The City is collaborating with community partners to host activities designed to inspire pride, connection, and civic engagement leading up Sept. 12. Highlights include a 912 Block Beautification led by Amazon, exclusive Xfinity in-store activations, and entertainment events across Savannah.

This year's 912 Day theme "You Make Us Fly!" celebrates the people, places, and partners that are helping move Savannah forward. The city is elevating the 912 Day celebration to new heights this year with cultural showcases, and community-driven events. Residents and visitors can pickup a free 912 Day Passport and fill it with official 912 Day stamps collected throughout the week at participating partner events.  Official 912 Day Passports are available for pickup at City Hall, as well as select City Community Centers and Live Oak Library locations.
