Cultivating Wellness through Culture: Kwanzaa365 Connection to host 2nd annual Afro-Rhythm Dance & Wellness Showcase

Kwanzaa365 Connection is proud to announce the 2nd annual Afro-Rhythm Dance & Wellness Showcase, which will take place Saturday, Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center. A vibrant day of movement, rhythm and cultural connection, this showcase will feature dynamic dance, drumming, and wellness workshops, evoking the richness of African diasporic culture.
The showcase is complete with engaging classes and spirited performances by Kwanzaa365 Connection founder and executive director, Imani Poole, as well as local and guest artists including Wontanara, Niche/Amahkle, Libation, Sing Savannah, The Collective, and Sankofa. In addition to a vendor market of local artisans and entrepreneurs, the showcase will also spotlight local community health providers, like Más Paz Counseling, to connect community members to valuable resources.
“We are elated to present a day of engaging activities and a special showcase designed to support holistic wellness,” said Poole. “We have acclaimed artists who will lead attendees in mindful movement. After a day of stimulating workshops and classes, the showcase will culminate in an inspiring performance featuring local and guest artists. Prepare for a captivating day that will benefit the mind, body and spirit!”
