Felder & Associates, a leading Savannah-based architecture firm, has completed the design of a new 50,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility for C&H Precision. This landmark expansion not only solidifies C&H Precision's position as an industry leader in firearm parts manufacturing but also reinforces Felder & Associates’ expertise in creating innovative commercial and industrial spaces. The new facility will officially open to the public during a grand opening celebration on Thursday, Sept. 18.
"The completion of this facility is a true testament to our synergistic collaboration," said Brian Felder, owner and principal at Felder & Associates. "By leveraging C&H Precision's cutting-edge technology, West Construction's efficiency, and Coleman Company's strong local network, we have created a building that doesn't just meet industry standards; it redefines them."
The new facility includes several key features designed by Felder & Associates to optimize C&H Precision’s operations, including advanced manufacturing capabilities for enhanced product quality and efficiency; a dedicated gun range for product testing; the Grounds and Rounds Coffee Shop; and 3,000 square feet of dedicated office space to accommodate the company's growing workforce.
Buck Holly, founder of C&H Precision, praised the project, adding, "The completion of this project is a monumental milestone for Georgia. By doubling our workforce and supporting nearly 100 high-paying jobs, we have not only expanded our operations but also invested directly in the future of our community."
The grand opening will be a two-part celebration that is open to the community and will benefit a local cause. The evening will begin with a free Bryan County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event from 5 to 6:30 p.m. This portion of the evening, which is open to the public, will include facility tours, complimentary coffee, snacks, beer, and wine. Immediately following the event, C&H Precision will host a ticketed concert at 7 p.m. featuring musician Josh Phillips. Proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to Bryan County School STEM programs.
This project creates significant job opportunities and contributes to the economic prosperity of Richmond Hill and Southeast Georgia. C&H Precision is committed to upholding its longstanding dedication to community engagement and employee well-being, ensuring this expansion benefits everyone involved. The company's culture of innovation and commitment to continuous improvement leads the industry by pioneering new technologies and delivering unparalleled quality that consistently exceeds client expectations.
The new facility was brought to life by a team of talented South Georgia companies, including Felder & Associates, West Construction, and Coleman Company.
