The Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary Foundation is proud to announce the grand reopening of the Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., located at 340 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in downtown Savannah. Guests are invited to explore the Center’s newly reimagined, museum-quality exhibits and engage in interactive, hands-on experiences highlighting Georgia’s vibrant marine ecosystems. In partnership with the Savannah Downtown Business Association, the celebration will also feature the “Earth is Blue” Community Block Party, which is a free, family-friendly event showcasing local vendors, sustainability initiatives, food, drinks, and music. Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with organizations dedicated to protecting our environment and coastal heritage. No RSVP is required, and all are welcome to attend.
