Second Harvest and Amazon Hosts Drive-Thru Mobile Food Pantry Distribution at Memorial Stadium Today
Friday, September 12th, 2025
Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, in partnership with Amazon, will host a Drive-Thru Mobile Food Pantry Distribution to provide nutritious food—including non-perishables, fresh produce, and protein—to approximately 750 Savannah households facing food insecurity.
The timing of this event is especially meaningful, as it takes place on 912 Day—a celebration of Savannah and the Coastal Georgia community. What better way to honor our neighbors than by ensuring families facing hunger have the food and resources they need. This effort also aligns with Hunger Action Month, Feeding America’s annual nationwide campaign to raise awareness and inspire action in the fight against hunger.
WHEN: Friday, September 12, 2025
8:00 – 10:00 a.m. (while supplies last)
WHERE: Memorial Stadium
101 John J. Scott Drive, Savannah, GA 31406
