Tyler Olsen Joins Thomas & Hutton As Traffic Engineer

Thomas & Hutton (T&H), a 100%-employee-owned, privately held professional services firm known for its award-winning culture and nearly 80 years of shaping communities across the Southeast, is pleased to welcome Tyler Olsen back to the firm’s Savannah, Georgia office as a Traffic Engineer.

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University in 2017 and has seven years of experience in traffic engineering and roadway design. His core competencies include traffic signal design, traffic impact analyses, ADA facility design, and highway/intersection design. Tyler has supported projects of all scales across Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, working with state agencies and municipalities to deliver solutions that improve safety and mobility.

Tyler’s project experience includes traffic studies and roadway improvements for large-scale industrial and mixed-use developments such as the Georgia International Trade Center in Effingham County, the ALFA & C-17 Properties development in Savannah, and the Cainhoy Five Year Outlook in Charleston. In these roles, he provided traffic impact analyses, designed and updated signal plans, and recommended roadway improvements that supported regional growth while maintaining efficient operations.
