Coastal Consulting Management Group (CCMG) recently announced the hire of Staff Accountant Jay Wetherington.

In this role, Jay’s focus will be to prepare tax returns and monthly/quarterly bookkeeping for firm clients.

Jay recently graduated from Presbyterian College in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. During his time at Presbyterian College, he played all four years on the baseball team. Jay also received his Master in Accounting from Georgia Southern University in the summer of 2025.

“Jay is a welcome addition to our team,” said CCMG Partner Maclain Caldwell. “We are excited to witness his interaction with our clients and watch him continue to thrive within our industry and community.”

In his spare time, Jay enjoys volunteering as a baseball coach. He served as an assistant coach on the Calvary Day School 2025 State Championship Baseball Team.
