Friday, October 10th, 2025

Coastal Heritage Society (CHS) is thrilled to host The American Revolution Experience at Savannah History Museum this fall. This collaborative project of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the American Battlefield Trust will be on display from October 9 through October 23, 2025. Savannah History Museum is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with regular admission required.

This immersive traveling exhibition highlights 13 individuals whose lives were transformed by the Revolutionary War. Using unique storytelling, illustration, technology, and artifacts, The American Revolution Experience explores how people in the South and across the colonies faced extraordinary circumstances during the fight for independence.

“This interactive exhibition complements the remarkable stories we tell each day at Savannah History Museum,” said CHS CEO Nora Lee. “We are grateful to the Lachlan McIntosh Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, the American Battlefield Trust, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Georgia State Society DAR for helping us highlight the people and places that shaped the dawn of a new nation.”

Visitors are invited to explore The American Revolution Experience and reflect on how the fight for independence still resonates in our nation’s story today.
