The BrightSpark Group, a Savannah-based training and development company, officially launched SPARK, its signature leadership program designed with frontline hospitality leaders in mind. Unlike traditional trainings, SPARK utilizes modern, hands-on activities to meet leaders where they are, equipping them with tangible leadership tools and skills that they can use every day.

"After working in the luxury hospitality industry for over 20 years, I realized that traditional corporate learning just doesn’t work for today’s workforce," said Ewan Riccio-Laing, Founder and CEO of The BrightSpark Group. "Our teams, old and new, don’t need more boring lecture-style trainings, they need to be inspired, engaged and given real tools they will actually use, which is why we launched SPARK.”

SPARK has 30 workshop topics to choose from, each built for every stage of the leadership journey, from aspiring to executive leaders. There are five core learning tracks: 1. Set Clear Expectations, 2. Presence Matters, 3. Align & Coach, 4. Relentless Focus, and 5. Kindness Counts. Each workshop delivers practical, actionable content that leaders can immediately apply to their teams and operations. True to The BrightSpark Group’s belief in creating learning experiences that are fun and impactful, there are unique enhancements for every module as well. These include LEGO® Serious Play®, Everything DiSC® personality profiling, actor-led learning with Savannah-based Front Porch Improv Theatre and immersive, live business simulations.

To celebrate the launch and introduce the program to the area, The BrightSpark Group is hosting its first community workshop on November 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. The training will be hosted virtually, as well as offered at no charge, to current and aspiring leaders throughout the Lowcountry. In the two-hour workshop, entitled “The Accountability Equation,” participants will learn a simple strategy for creating a culture of accountability across their team, as well as how to have effective, engaging and meaningful conversations.
