Junior League of Savannah Hosts “Touch-a-Truck & Trunk-or-Treat” Family Fun Event at Oglethorpe Mall
Thursday, October 23rd, 2025
The Junior League of Savannah invites families across the Coastal Empire to join in for a spooktacular day of fun, learning, and community at the annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the JCPenney parking lot at Oglethorpe Mall.
This Halloween-themed mash-up combines two beloved family experiences: the excitement of Touch-a-Truck and the creativity of Trunk-or-Treat, into one action-packed day. Children will have the chance to explore and learn about a variety of vehicles, from construction trucks and emergency response units to farm equipment and more. Families can also enjoy safe, festive trick-or-treating from creatively decorated car trunks.
“Touch-a-Truck showcases what community partnership can accomplish,” said Mary Beth Kennedy, president, Junior League of Savannah. “It gives children of all ages an exciting, hands-on way to learn about the different vehicles and people who keep our region running. We are proud to collaborate with our partners to bring families together for a day that celebrates learning, connection and fun year after year.”
A Quiet Hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to provide a sensory-friendly experience for children who may prefer reduced noise and lights.
Tickets are $25 per family (up to five people) or $6 per individual ticket, with children ages two and under admitted free. Proceeds from the event support the Junior League of Savannah’s mission to advance women’s leadership and improve communities through volunteer action and collaboration.
