St. Joseph’s/Candler’s Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion Provides Thriving & Surviving Series

St. Joseph's/Candler invites cancer survivors to explore the post-treatment phase of survivorship through a Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion series focused on moving beyond treatment. Attendees will discover ways to get back to whole-body wellness through workshops designed to foster a healthy transition. Each person can attend every session or select different sessions to attend.

Sessions to be held on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025 include:

  • 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. |“I finished my cancer treatment! Now what?” What it means to be in survivorship
  • 11:15 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. | Healing through Food with Cooking Demonstration
  • 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. | Getting Creative: Art Activity with Telfair Museum Making Marks Program
  • 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. | Sexual Health
  • 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. | Returning to Fitness
  • 4 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. | Curious, Compassion and Calm Mindfulness and Meditation

The Cancer Thriving & Surviving Series is free to attend and includes lunch.
