Livingood's Breaks Ground on New 138,000-Square-Foot Facility in Pooler, Unifying All Operations

Livingood's, the family-owned appliance and bedding retailer serving Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry since 1976, will break ground on a new, 138,000-square-foot unified facility on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. at 1326 US Hwy 80 E in Pooler, the site can be accessed via Old Louisville Road. This significant milestone marks a new chapter of growth for the two-generation family business, which has outgrown its current footprint and is making an ongoing investment in the Pooler community.

The expansive new facility is designed to bring the showroom, corporate offices, and warehouse operations together under one roof, streamlining the customer experience and supporting the company’s expanding services. The new space will allow Livingood's to increase inventory and efficiency to better serve its growing customer base. Representatives from Mahany Construction, the project’s general contractor, will participate in the ceremony.

Pooler Mayor Karen Williams and Pooler City Manager Heath Lloyd are confirmed to attend the ceremony, underscoring the city's recognition of Livingood's role in local development and job creation. The groundbreaking event will serve as a celebration of Livingood's trajectory and continued investment in the local economy.

From Savannah, take I-16 west and exit right onto Dean Forest Road (exit 160)

Take Dean Forest Road north until reaching US Hwy 80, and take a left onto US Hwy 80.

Proceed approximately 1.6 miles to Old Louisville Rd, take a right.

Follow Old Louisville Road. approximately .6 miles, the site will be on the right.

From I-95, take exit 102 and turn right onto US Hwy 80.

Take US Hwy 80 for approximately 1.4 miles.

Turn left onto Old Louisville Road.

Follow Old Louisville Road approximately 0.6 miles; the site will be on the right.
