Omega Construction’s Savannah Division is proud to announce the start of two significant new hotel projects that will bring additional hospitality offerings to the Greater Savannah region. Both hotels, developed under the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) Avid and Candlewood Suites brands, are designed to meet the needs of modern travelers with comfortable accommodations, thoughtful amenities, and convenient locations.

These projects reflect the continued growth of Omega’s Savannah Division and strong partnerships with respected hospitality owners and architects. Omega is honored to help bring new, high-quality lodging options to this vibrant region and to contribute to its ongoing economic development.

Avid/Candlewood Suites – Savannah, GA
Located on East President Street, this 70,452-square-foot, four-story property will feature 154 guest rooms. Developed by Ideal Hospitality and designed by OM Design Solutions, the hotel will offer a vibrant lobby and lounge, bar, breakfast area and kitchen, and a 24/7 fitness center. The project is being constructed with a slab-on-grade foundation and wood framing, delivering quality and efficiency. Construction commenced in July 2025, with Omega overseeing all aspects of new construction.

Avid/Candlewood Suites – Richmond Hill, GA
Located on Highway 17 in Richmond Hill, this 54,677-square-foot, four-story hotel will provide 109 guest rooms and 132 parking spaces. Owned by Fidelity Management Group and designed by BASE4, the property will feature a spacious lobby, fitness center, dining space, laundry facilities, a large entrance canopy, and a back covered lounge area complete with a gazebo. The slab-on-grade and wood-framed construction reflects Omega’s commitment to combining durability with efficiency. Sitework began in July 2025.
