United Way Names Carissa Hendricks Regional County Director

United Way of the Coastal Empire announced that Carissa Hendricks has joined the organization as regional county director of Liberty and Long counties. In this role, Hendricks will provide strategic leadership and oversight to advance United Way’s mission in Liberty and Long counties.
“Carissa’s passion for service and her strong ties to Liberty County makes her an exceptional leader for our local communities,” said United Way of the Coastal Empire president and CEO Kimberly Waller. “She brings experience, heart and vision to this role, and we are excited to see her continue building programs and partnerships that help neighbors thrive.”
Hendricks previously worked with United Way of the Coastal Empire as program coordinator for the Liberty and Long County Service Center. She brings expertise in wellness programming, human resources coordination, and extensive experience in volunteer and service leadership.
“I’m thrilled to return to United Way in this leadership role and continue supporting the people and families of Liberty and Long counties,” Hendricks said. “Our communities thrive when we show up with compassion, integrity and purpose, and that’s exactly what I hope to bring every day.”
Hendricks officially assumed her new position Aug. 18.
