CURE Childhood Cancer successfully hosted its Third Annual Homecoming Fundraiser on Saturday, November 8, 2025, raising vital funds to provide local support for children battling cancer and to advance crucial pediatric oncology research.

The adults-only, football-themed event drew enthusiastic supporters to the Forest City Gun Club, transforming the space into an elevated gameday experience. Guests, dressed in their best gameday attire, enjoyed a full open bar, elevated tailgate food from Ardsley Station, and live music from The Bourbon Boys, with college football action featured on large screens. Pre-event clay shooting games also added to the festive atmosphere.

A key part of the evening was a short program that highlighted family stories and CURE’s critical mission, emphasizing the tangible difference donor funds make in the lives of local families.

The funds raised at the Third Annual Homecoming Fundraiser are directly dedicated to two critical areas:

Local Patient Support: Providing financial and emotional resources to families in Savannah and the surrounding area as they navigate a childhood cancer diagnosis. CURE is the only organization providing this level of support to local children and families across Georgia and parts of South Carolina.
Targeted Research: Contributing to CURE's goal of conquering childhood cancer by funding specific, innovative research projects. The organization has dedicated over $45 million to such research aimed at cancers affecting children.

"The success of the Third Annual Homecoming event is a testament to the compassion and generosity of the Savannah community," said Jenny Wilkins, CURE Development Director. "Every dollar raised ensures that local families have the financial and emotional stability they need during the hardest fight of their lives, while simultaneously pushing forward research that offers hope for a CURE."

The organization thanked its sponsors and every attendee for making the 2025 Homecoming Fundraiser a significant success in the fight against pediatric cancer.
