Thomas & Hutton (T&H), a 100%-employee-owned, privately held
professional services firm known for its award-winning culture and nearly 80 years of shaping
communities across the Southeast, is pleased to welcome Erica Gerez to the firm’s Savannah office as a
Designer in the Civil Department.

Erica is a recent graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she earned her Bachelor of
Science in Civil Engineering in 2025. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Oglethorpe
University. Erica brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her role, shaped by internship experience in
construction management, geotechnical engineering, AI applications, and pedestrian transportation
planning.

As a Civil Designer, Erica will assist in preparing site development construction drawings, support
engineering design for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure, and contribute to permit
applications for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
