Hope Haven Presents “Hope for the Holidays”

Hope Haven will host "Hope for the Holidays," a special event offering practical tools and tips for dementia caregivers, Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m.. The program will take place at Hope Haven, located on the third floor of Cranmer Hall at 27 West Charlton Street. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and the presentation begins at 11 a.m. Free parking is available.
The featured speaker is Alexis Williams, Program Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association, who will share strategies to help caregivers navigate the holiday season with greater ease and confidence.
“"Hope for the Holidays" is about giving caregivers real, usable strategies for what can be an overwhelming time of year,” said Cathy Baxter, director, Hope Haven. “This program is designed to offer encouragement and support so families can focus on creating meaningful moments this holiday season.”
Local organizations will also be on hand to provide valuable caregiver resources, including Hospice Savannah’s Edel Caregiver Institute, Coastal Senior Oasis, Cornerstone Caregiving, Vital Bridge Wellness and the Alzheimer’s Association.
