McKibbon Hospitality Announces Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District General Manager

McKibbon Hospitality today announced the appointment of Bryan Hale as General Manager for the Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District, one of Hilton’s newest lifestyle brands designed for the modern traveler.

Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District is currently under construction and is slated to open in late February 2026, welcoming guests to experience this exciting addition to the city’s vibrant hospitality scene at 220 E. Bryan St., Savannah. Located within walking distance of Savannah’s River Street, Tempo will offer 148 guest rooms, including Peloton suites, a Bluestone Lane Café, rooftop restaurant and bar with views of the Savannah River, flexible meeting space, a fitness center and more.

As General Manager, Hale will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, brand standards, and guest experience, ensuring Tempo’s signature balance of relaxation and purpose-driven design is reflected throughout the property. His leadership will guide the team in delivering exceptional service across the hotel’s distinctive offerings.

A seasoned hospitality professional, Hale brings more than 30 years of hotel management experience across Hilton, Marriott, and IHG brands. Most recently, he served as General Manager of the Hampton Inn Savannah Historic District, where he achieved record-setting guest satisfaction scores and sustained profitability through strategic operations and team development. Prior to that, Hale held regional and franchise support roles with InterContinental

Hotels Group, providing hands-on leadership to multiple properties across the Southeast. Hale is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and an active member of the Savannah Tourism Leadership Council & Savannah Chamber of Commerce. He is also deeply involved in the community, volunteering his time with the Wesley Community Center of Savannah with his hotel team. He is also involved in all things Scottish, including the annual Savannah Scottish Games as a committee member and the St. Andrews Society of Savannah.

Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District is McKibbon’s second managed Tempo by Hilton property, joining the Tempo by Hilton Raleigh Downtown which opened in December 2024, and the company’s fifth managed property in the city, joining Hampton Inn Savannah-Historic District and Holiday Inn Express-Savannah Historic District on Bay Street, as well as Residence Inn Savannah Downtown/Historic District and TownePlace Suites Savannah Midtown.
