Current Edge Solutions Announces Multiple New Hires

Current Edge Solutions recently announced the hire of three new team members including Engineer Tech Mike Gresham, Principal Engineer Richard Long, and Lighting Coordinator Nathan Rushing.
Mike Gresham
Following a 44-year career as an Engineer with Georgia Power and Savannah Electric, Mike Gresham joins Current Edge Solutions as an Engineer Tech. Mike received two degrees from Ogeechee Tech, one in Electronics and Industrial Management. He has also received his GPC Level One and Level Two in Distribution Certification. Mike has served as a Guest Instructor at GPC's Klondike Training Center for the past 17 years, teaching the Basic Engineering Design Class. He previously served as the President of the Brooklet Kiwanis Club for two terms and served for 8 years as a Boy Scouts of America Cub Master and Troop Leader.
Richard Long
Richard Long has worked within the utility business for 42 years and recently joined Current Edge Solutions as a Principal Engineer. He recently served as a Senior Distribution Engineer for Georgia Power for 38 years. In his new role, Richard will work on various projects in partnership with Georgia Power in addition to sharing his experience and knowledge with fellow distribution engineers. He received a degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University. He is an active member of his church where he serves in the church choir and praise band in addition to managing the audio/video production team. Richard also enjoys volunteering with PACK Savannah.
Nathan Rushing
Nathan Rushing joins Current Edge Solutions as a Lighting Coordinator. With over 25 years of experience, Nathan most recently worked with Georgia Power primarily focusing on industrial electrical installation and operation. Nathan’s focus will be to complete new installation of complete lighting systems, including LED transition, outdoor lighting systems, and upgrades. Nathan completed a 5-year Electrical Apprenticeship Program through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). In addition, he has received a Georgia Electrical Contractor Class 2 Unrestricted License, Level One and Level Two Thermography Certifications, and Level One and Level Two Energized/De-energized Motor Testing License.
