Over the course of his career, Jay has been involved in nearly every facet of construction—design, cost estimating, contracts, and on-site supervision—on projects ranging from single-family homes to complex, multi-level commercial developments.

As a Project Field Representative, Jay played a key role in helping guide the design, permitting, cost estimating, and contract administration of infrastructure systems throughout the region. Jay’s expertise has been integral to some of the Lowcountry’s most notable projects, including Sun City and East Argent Loop Road in Hardeeville, as well as Sea Pines Plantation Golf Club House and Beach Club on Hilton Head Island. His work in construction observation, stormwater management, water distribution, sanitary sewer systems, and roadway improvements reflects a career dedicated to quality, precision, and collaboration.

Thomas & Hutton is deeply grateful for Jay’s years of service and congratulates him on this exciting next chapter. His legacy of leadership and technical excellence will continue to inspire future generations of professionals at T&H and beyond.
