Second Annual Chefs + Farmers Culinary Event Set for March 5th

Forsyth Farmers’ Market and FARM Hospitality Group are thrilled to present the second annual Chefs + Farmers: A Culinary Experience event at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, located at 41 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. All proceeds will support Forsyth Farmers’ Market programs benefiting area farmers as well as the local community.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample seasonal dishes made with fresh, local ingredients prepared by talented chefs from top local restaurants, including Common Thread, Strange Bird, Sobremesa, The Laundry Diner, Flora and Fauna and FARM, with many more to be announced over the coming weeks. Additional Chefs + Farmers event highlights include expertly crafted cocktails, live music and the opportunity to explore the garden surrounding Ships of the Sea’s historic William Scarbrough House, a c. 1819 Greek Revival treasure that was originally designed by acclaimed architect William Jay.
“We’re deeply honored to partner with FARM Hospitality Group again this year to present Chefs + Farmers, which is one of Savannah’s signature local culinary celebrations,” said Asia Harold, Executive Director of Forsyth Farmers’ Market. “Last year, the inaugural Chefs + Farmers event attracted more than 200 attendees and raised more than $30,000 to support Forsyth Farmers’ Market’s community-based programs. We invite everyone to attend Chefs + Farmers on March 5th and to learn more about Forsyth Farmers’ Market’s mission to encourage participation in the local food system, support sustainable production and increase access to fresh, affordable food.”
Chefs + Farmers tickets are currently available at Eventbrite. Early bird tickets are available through February 15 for $160 (plus tax and fees) per person. After February 15, general admission tickets will be $180 (plus tax and fees) per person.
New this year are VIP tickets, which are currently available for $240 (plus tax and fees) per person. VIP tickets include access to an exclusive reception on March 5 at 6 p.m., prior to general admission.
