Announcing the Tenth Annual Savannah Antiques and Architecture Weekend
Tuesday, February 10th, 2026
For the 10th consecutive year, The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the State of Georgia is orchestrating another iconic Savannah event. The Annual Savannah Antiques and Architecture Weekend is a three-day series of presentations, tours, and events. We are dedicated to the promotion of Savannah’s robust historic preservation. As a non-profit event, all proceeds benefit The Andrew Low House Museum and The Green-Meldrim House, two of Savannah’s most important
historic houses.
Keynote Guest of Honor: India Hicks
In celebration of our 10th Anniversary, we pay tribute to the British influence on our region’s history and lifestyle with world-renowned designer, style icon, and activist India Hicks. As daughter of Lady Pamela Hicks and famed interior designer, David Hicks, India’s style blends her aristocratic British roots with a relaxed island lifestyle. She lives on a small island in the Caribbean where she raised her 5 children and now works on the fringes of fashion, interior décor, and the front lines of disaster relief.
India has often made bold life choices, which have led to a multi-faceted, unexpected journey. She has authored four design books, been an on-air personality for networks ranging from Bravo to the BBC and has had her hand in the design world for over two decades - from hotels to home collections. She will be signing her latest book on her mother, Lady Pamela, as well as her lifestyle books, Island Style, and A Slice of England at the Keynote Luncheon during our events this year.
She is an executive board member for Global Empowerment Mission, a disaster relief agency where she joins teams on the ground in the aftermath of both natural and man-made disasters, most significantly traveling to Ukraine’s front lines every few months since the invasion. India is also a patron for The King’s Trust, raising awareness and funding to help young women who face disadvantage and adversity transform their lives.
Special Tours of the Andrew Low House Museum and the Green-Meldrim House
Special tours of our benefactor houses will be offered this year. Guests will enjoy exclusive tours of the Andrew Low House Museum’s off-tour rooms with ghost tales and history not shared on public tours, and will be treated to an English Tea at the Green-Meldrim House and learn about Charles Green and his English Victorian connections.
