Coastal Heritage Society Hosts Annual ‘Seuss Fest’ at Savannah Children’s Museum
Wednesday, February 25th, 2026
Coastal Heritage Society (CHS) is slated to host its annual “Seuss Fest” event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, at Savannah Children’s Museum, located at 655 Louisville Road. Inspired by the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss, this beloved annual event encourages children and caregivers alike to dress up as their favorite Seuss characters and dive into a morning of imagination and play.
Activities for the day include interactive story time, games, arts and crafts, playful hands-on experiences, and a museum-wide scavenger hunt designed to spark a lifelong love of reading. Guests can explore the outdoor exhibits at Exploration Station and enjoy the new indoor STEAM Center.
“We are thrilled to welcome families back to Savannah Children’s Museum for Seuss Fest,” said Nora Fleming Lee, CEO of CHS. “This event truly reflects the heart of our community, bringing together local families, educators, and partners who believe in the power of literacy and joyful learning. This event is made possible by the generous support of our sponsor, Calvary Day School. We are incredibly grateful to our community partners and volunteers who make days like this possible and proud to celebrate alongside so many who champion children and creativity.”
Tickets for this event are free for members of CHS. Memberships can be purchased online at https://chsgeorgia.org/membership/. For non-members, tickets are included with regular museum admission: $16 for all guests 18 months and older. To purchase tickets, please visit https://chsgeorgia.org/savannah-childrens-museum/.
