EMC Engineering Services, Inc. Announces Shareholder Promotions And Appointments For 2026

EMC Engineering Services, Inc. (EMC), a comprehensive civil engineering firm, has announced several promotions and appointments to the company’s shareholders for 2026. These leadership advancements reflect EMC’s continued commitment to investing in its employees, supporting corporate growth, and building strong foundations for long-term success.
Jeremy Hart, PE, and Cody Rogers, PE, have been promoted from Associate Owners to Principal Owners, in recognition of their dedication, leadership, and impact on the firm’s growth and success.
Mr. Hart joined EMC in 2010 as a Civil Engineering Intern in the Statesboro branch. He transitioned to the Greenville branch in 2022, where he currently serves as the Branch Manager. He became an Associate Owner in 2021 and has played a key role in the firm’s growth and operational success in the Upstate South Carolina market. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master’s in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University, and holds Professional Engineer licensure in Georgia and South Carolina.
Mr. Rogers joined EMC in 2015 as a Junior Design Engineer and was promoted to Project Manager in 2021. He currently serves as Branch Manager for the Statesboro office, where he provides leadership across project delivery, client relationships, and staff development. Mr. Rogers graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and holds Professional Engineer licensure in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
Joining EMC as shareholders at the Associate level are Dan Chicola and Chuck Byrne, PE, bringing new perspective and leadership to the firm’s continued growth.
Mr. Chicola joined EMC in 2015 and brings more than 23 years of experience as a Military Engineer Officer and over 21 years of experience as a construction Project Manager. He currently oversees EMC’s Construction Inspections Department, where he is responsible for quality control, schedule compliance, and coordination across a wide range of public and private projects. Mr. Chicola graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Mr. Byrne brings more than 12 years of experience supporting construction projects for state, county, municipal, and private clients. He joined EMC in 2015, returned to the firm in 2021, and currently oversees the Engineering Department in EMC’s Augusta branch. Mr. Byrne’s background includes engineering design, construction inspections, and project coordination. Mr. Byrne graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and holds Professional Engineer licensure in Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama.
