Savannah-based entrepreneur Emily McCarthy recently announced the creation of an endowment fund to benefit local nonprofit organizations related to women, children and families.

Named the Invite Joy Fund, Savannah-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations are invited to apply through March 31, 2026.

“Our designs are fashioned to invite joy, inspire creativity, and foster a community where everyone feels empowered to express their signature style,” said Founder and Creative Director Emily McCarthy. “The Invite Joy Fund was created as an extension of these values. We are deeply passionate about supporting causes that create meaningful, lasting impact within our communities.”

Organizations will be selected by an advisory committee, and winners will be announced around Mother’s Day. Nonprofit organizations are asked to complete an application detailing their mission statement, where the funds will be allocated, and how their organization benefits local mothers and children within Chatham County.

McCarthy continues, “This fund exists to partner with organizations whose missions align with our heart for joy, confidence, creativity, and community—helping to bring hope and tangible support where it is needed most. We are so excited to learn more about what all these amazing organizations are accomplishing within Savannah.”
