Forsyth Farmers’ Market and FARM Hospitality Group are delighted to announce the official line-up of acclaimed restaurants and talented chefs for the second annual Chefs + Farmers: A Culinary Experience event on Thur., March 5 at 7 p.m. at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, located at 41 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. All proceeds will support Forsyth Farmers’ Market programs benefiting area farmers and expanding community access to fresh, healthy, locally produced food.

“Chefs + Farmers stands apart as one of Savannah’s signature annual culinary events, uniting top local and regional chefs and restaurants for a great cause,” said Asia Harold, Executive Director of Forsyth Farmers’ Market. “We invite everyone to attend the Chefs + Farmers event on March 5th and to learn more about Forsyth Farmers’ Market’s mission to encourage participation in the local food system, support sustainable production and increase community access to fresh, locally produced food.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample seasonal dishes made with fresh, local ingredients throughout the evening. Additional Chefs + Farmers event highlights will include expertly crafted cocktails, live music by the Intracoastal Playboys and the opportunity to explore the garden surrounding Ships of the Sea’s historic William Scarbrough House, a c. 1819 Greek Revival treasure that was originally designed by acclaimed architect William Jay.
Chefs + Farmers tickets are currently available at chefsandfarmerssav.com or on Eventbrite. General admission tickets are $180 (plus tax and fees) per person. New this year are VIP tickets, which are currently available for $240 (plus tax and fees) per person. VIP tickets include access to an exclusive reception on March 5 at 6 p.m., prior to general admission.
