Savannah will lace up for a cause on Saturday, October 10, 2026, as runners, walkers, and families of all ages gather for Hope Beyond Borders 5K & 10K, a community-wide race designed to combine movement, unity, and global impact.

The event welcomes participants of all abilities—from competitive runners to casual walkers—and is intentionally designed to be inclusive, family-friendly, and accessible. Proceeds from the race will benefit Hope Beyond Borders, the global missions ministry of Hope City Church, supporting humanitarian and community-based initiatives around the world.

“This race is about more than crossing a finish line,” said Kathleen Bailey, Race Director. “It’s about bringing our community together to move with purpose and extend hope beyond our city and into the world.”

Participants may choose between a 5K or 10K route, with walkers warmly encouraged to take part. The event aims to foster a welcoming atmosphere. Bailey noted, “The race course is conducive to a great pace, yet we are most excited about community participation, connection, and shared purpose.”

Local businesses and organizations are also invited to partner through sponsorship opportunities, helping make the event possible while demonstrating a commitment to community engagement and global impact.

The Hope Beyond Borders 5K & 10K reflects Savannah’s strong spirit of generosity, diversity, and service—inviting neighbors, families, workplaces, and running communities to participate side by side.
