The Savannah Downtown Business Association (SDBA) is proud to celebrate Black History Month and the legacy and future of Black-owned banking with a special Business Behind the Scenes event featuring Carver State Bank. The “Road to 100 Years” Celebration will be held on Thursday, February 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at 7110 Skidaway Road. 

This exclusive behind-the-scenes experience offers attendees a unique opportunity to connect with Carver State Bank as it approaches its 100th anniversary. Participants will meet bank owner Bob James, hear the inspiring story behind Carver’s Road to 100 Years, and learn about the banking services and business support the bank provides to help small businesses grow and succeed throughout the Savannah community.

Admission is $25 for SDBA members and $35 for non-members. Registration is required and available at savannahdba.com. Registration closes Tuesday, February 17, 2026
