Coastal Georgia Indicators Coalition Welcomes New Board Members
Wednesday, March 11th, 2026
The Coastal Georgia Indicators Coalition (CGIC) is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors: William Kelso, Chief External Affairs Officer at Goodwill Industries of Southeast Georgia; Zachary Ott, Director of Existing Industry at the Savannah Economic Development Authority; Dr. Takeshia Brown, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer for the City of Savannah; and Kate Blair, Executive Director of Brightside Child and Family Advocacy.
Each of these leaders brings diverse experience and expertise to CGIC and will help guide the organization through its next phase of development. Their leadership will support CGIC’s efforts to strengthen community partnerships and collaboration, expand the availability and accessibility of community-level and regional data, and advance data-informed decision-making that improves outcomes across Coastal Georgia.
The coalition brings people, data, and shared purpose together so communities—urban and rural—can make informed decisions, align efforts, and move toward a more equitable future. CGIC works to strengthen collaboration, elevate community voice, and translate information into meaningful action.
As a backbone organization for collective impact, CGIC connects organizations, leaders, and residents across sectors while providing accessible, community-centered data to support better decisions. The coalition also creates shared spaces for learning, coordination, and action and helps align efforts so resources are used wisely and equitably.
“The strength of CGIC comes from the partnerships and perspectives represented around the table,” said Linda Cramer, CGIC board chair. “We are excited to welcome these new board members and look forward to the leadership they will bring as we continue building a stronger, more connected region.”
