HunterMaclean Welcomes Attorney Lauren Harter to Corporate Practice Group

HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Savannah and St. Simons Island, recently announced that attorney Lauren Harter has joined the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. Lauren’s focus will include immigration law. 

Prior to joining HunterMaclean, Lauren practiced at Brennan & Wasden in Savannah, where she defended businesses, individuals, medical professionals, and healthcare entities in a range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury and medical malpractice actions.

Lauren earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was a member of the Managerial Board of the Georgia Law Review. She also holds a B.A. in Government and Spanish, with
distinction, from the University of Virginia.

During law school, Lauren gained experience as a student attorney with UGA Law’s Community Health Law Partnership (“Community HeLP”) clinic and as an extern with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Atlanta. She completed summer associate programs with Oliver Maner and Brennan & Wasden in Savannah, as well as an internship with the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney in Petersburg, Virginia. Before attending law school, she worked as a paralegal at Tingen Law in Richmond, Virginia, assisting clients in immigration, family, and criminal law matters. 

Lauren is an active member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and the Young Lawyers Division of the Savannah Bar Association.
