Hussey Gay Bell is pleased to announce the addition of Alyssa Smith, PE, as a Civil Engineer in the firm’s Savannah office.

 Smith brings a strong background in civil and ecological engineering, supporting projects for both local governments and private developers. Her areas of expertise include hydrological and hydraulic analysis, utility layout, grading and earthwork design, and erosion control. She also has experience supporting FEMA-assistance projects, including storm damage assessment, mitigation efforts and infrastructure restoration.

 Smith is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering with an emphasis in Ecological Engineering from Clemson University. Smith is engaged in conservation efforts through her involvement with Ducks Unlimited.
