Internationally Acclaimed Classical Artists Take Center Stage at Savannah Music Festival

The lineup of classical music artists during the Savannah Music Festival, happening March 25–April 5, will inspire and uplift audiences in a variety of Savannah’s most beautiful venues. From a four-part series featuring British classical violist Philip Dukes and Friends to German classical pianist Sebastian Knauer, attendees will have a chance to see world-renowned artists right in the Hostess City. Classical performances in the 2026 lineup include:

- Philip Dukes and Friends I: Mendelssohn & Mercer (Mar. 29 at 5 p.m., The DeSotoHotel, Oglethorpe Ballroom)
- Philip Dukes and Friends II: Escher String Quartet (Mar. 31 at 6 p.m., Trinity United Methodist Church)
- Sebastian Knauer’s Bach & Sons (Apr. 1 at 11 a.m., Trinity United Methodist Church)
Philip Dukes and Friends III: Brahms & Franck (Apr. 2 at 5 p.m., Jepson Center, Neises Auditorium) - Maxim Lando, piano (Apr. 3 at 6 p.m., Jepson Center, Neises Auditorium)
- Philip Dukes and Friends IV: Schumann & Dvořák (Apr. 4 at 6 p.m., Jepson Center,Neises Auditorium)
As part of a new partnership with the Hilton Head International Piano Competition, SMF is honored to present 2025 HHIPC First Prize winner Jonathan Mamora as the opening concert in the classical series. Philip Dukes will collaborate with different artists spanning the classical genre, from a collaboration with the Escher String Quartet performing Verdi’s alluring String Quartet to chamber music concerts featuring Romantic composers. Performances by pianists
Sebastian Knauer and Maxim Lando round out the series.
