New Mobile Grocery Store to Bring Fresh, Affordable Food Directly to Savannah Aera Neighborhoods
Wednesday, March 25th, 2026
Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) and Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia are unveiling a new mobile grocery store, and it’s called the “MoGro.”
There are only two other mobile grocery stores in the country, making Monday’s launch a special one for the Savannah community.
The “MoGro” is funded by a $700,000 SCAD SERVE Community Fund grant with support from Kroger.
SCAD students designed the branding, vehicle graphics and overall user experience that the community will get to see for the very first time Monday.
