SCDPS: Annual Roadway Fatalities Are at Lowest in More Than a Decade

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and the South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) say fewer people have been dying on South Carolina roadways in recent years.

“SCDOT and SCDPS reaffirmed their shared commitment to working together, alongside local governments, law enforcement, and community partners, to build on recent progress and make South Carolina’s roadways safer for everyone,” SCDOT said in a press release.
