Final Weekend of the Savannah Music Festival Brings Four Days of World-Class Music Performances to Savannah

The 2026 Savannah Music Festival (SMF) enters its highly anticipated final weekend with an exciting lineup of performances from Thursday April 2 through Sunday April 5, showcasing internationally acclaimed artists across roots, jazz, classical, and global music traditions. Music lovers still have time to experience one of the Southeast’s most celebrated cultural events before the festival concludes.
Now in its 37th season, the Savannah Music Festival fills historic venues throughout downtown Savannah with exceptional live performances from artists around the world, creating animmersive celebration of music and culture.
The final weekend begins Thursday with a diverse slate of performances including Christone “Kingfish” Ingram at the Lucas Theatre for the Arts and Darrell Scott String Band featuring Rob Ickes at Ships of the Sea. Earlier in the evening, audiences can enjoy chamber music with Philip Dukes and Friends III: Brahms & Franck at the Neises Auditorium at Telfair’s Jepson Center, alongside the Broadway-inspired program Divine Harmony: Broadway Tunes from Religious to Secular at Kehoe Iron Works.
Friday’s schedule features an array of standout performances including Old Crow Medicine Show at the Lucas Theatre for the Arts, global fusion ensemble Saha Gnawa, and a high- energy soul double bill with Lee Fields and Monophonics at Victory North. Audiences can also experience the acclaimed Celtic collaboration Le Vent du Nord / Breabach and a special afternoon performance by Darrell Scott & Rob Ickes as part of the popular NOON30 concert series.
Saturday continues the celebration with the return of Le Vent du Nord for the NOON30 lunchtime concert, Robert Cray Band rocking the Trustees Theater, traditional bluegrass sound from Dan Tyminski Band at Ships of the Sea, and culminates with the festival’s lively Closing Weekend Party featuring Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers and Sally Baby’s Silver Dollars, promising an unforgettable evening of dance-worthy Louisiana zydeco and roots music.
The festival concludes Sunday with special closing performance by the Unlimited Miles Sextet, which will celebrate the legacy of jazz legend Miles Davis, bringing together world-class musicians in a program honoring what would have been Davis’s 100th birthday.
“Week One of the Festival was electric with packed houses for Larkin Poe, Tank and the Bangas, Pat Metheny, Daniel Donato, and many more. Each year, the final weekend captures the full spirit of the Savannah Music Festival,” said Sinisa Ciric, Executive Director of the Savannah Music Festival. “From intimate chamber music to roots, jazz, and global traditions, it’s an opportunity for audiences to experience extraordinary artists and the unique energy that fills Savannah during these last days of the festival.”
The Explorer Pass program helps make the Savannah Music Festival accessible to local students by providing free admission to general admission performances for Savannah- Chatham County Public School System students and family members. The initiative expands opportunities for young people and their families to experience the festival’s diverse, world-class music lineup. Major support for SMF’s Community Impact programs, including Explorer Pass, is provided by the Wall Lynch Family.
Tickets for all remaining performances are available now, but many shows are expected to sell out as the festival approaches its grand finale. Individual tickets start at $37, and audiences are encouraged to secure seats soon to experience the closing weekend lineup.
