Startup Savannah’s GRIT Pitch!, which will take place as part of Small Business Week 2026, will offer local entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch for the chance to win cash prizes. These prizes are made possible by the sponsorship of organizations like The Georgia Center of Innovation, who are the top-level sponsors of GRIT Pitch!.

“We’re proud to partner with Startup Savannah to support local entrepreneurship,” said David Nuckolls, Executive Director of the Georgia Center of Innovation. “The connections they are building are driving innovation and business growth across Georgia's coastal region, and we’re excited to support efforts like the GRIT Pitch!Event.”

With the support of the Georgia Center of Innovation, the first place winner of GRIT Pitch! will receive $2,500 in cash. Second place will receive $1,250, sponsored by Sterling Seacrest Pritchard; third place will receive $750, sponsored by the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce; and the Audience Choice award will be $500, sponsored by The Malin Savannah.

GRIT Pitch! will be held on Thursday, May 7 at The Clyde Venue. Each participating entrepreneur will take to the stage and pitch their business or idea to a panel of expert judges, with just 3 minutes on the clock to do so.
