Georgia Lawmakers Pass Last-Minute Bill that Could Impact Speed Zone Cameras

A last-minute bill passed on the final day of the Georgia Legislative Session could impact school speed zone cameras across the state.
In the final hours of Sine Die, the Georgia House of Representatives gave final passage to House Bill 651 after approving Senate amendments. One of the largest subjects of the bill is allowing for a local vote to decide if speed zone cameras will continue or start in a county or municipality.
