Savannah Speech & Hearing Center Supports Infant Development Through Free Movement Milestone Classes

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Monday, April 6th, 2026

Savannah Speech and Hearing Center (SSHC) announces upcoming training as part of their Development Series. The Developmental Series includes Tummy Time Champions and  Walking Warriors offering small-group sessions where caregivers learn practical techniques to help their babies grow strong, confident, and coordinated. Led by a board-certified pediatric physical therapist, the classes focus on age-appropriate activities that support developmental skills in a fun, supportive environment.

The first years of life are filled with developmental milestones—but many don’t realize just how much support babies and parents may need to meet them. At SSHC, pediatric physical therapist Dr. Jenn Jones is stepping in with free, hands-on classes designed to help families build the foundation for healthy motor development—starting as early as tummy time.

“We know that early intervention makes a big difference,” said Dr. Jenn Jones, PT, DPT. “But just as important is early education. We’re not just working with babies – we’re empowering caregivers with tools they can use every day.”
