St. Joseph's/Candler Announces New Annual Giving Director

Caroline Berry is the new Director of Annual Giving for the St. Joseph’s/Candler Foundations. In this role, she leads the ongoing cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and renewal of donors. A particular focus of hers will be growing membership and engagement within The 1804 Club, a network of community-minded and philanthropic individuals who support local healthcare services, technology and programs.

St. Joseph's/Candler Foundations creates giving opportunities for community members that help shape and deliver outstanding care for generations to come.

Caroline has been a Savannah resident for over 30 years, amassing decades of nonprofit leadership, education, and outreach experience. She began her career in Savannah as Executive Director of the American Heart Association, where she developed a deep commitment to mission-driven work and community engagement.

Caroline has since held a variety of education and nonprofit development roles, including positions with Savannah Country Day School and Horizons Savannah, where she was honored with the Lyn McNaught National Teacher Award. Most recently, she served as Director of Education at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, where she built a thriving education program and expanded local partnerships, reaching thousands of students annually.

Her deep-rooted community involvement and ability to build meaningful relationships has allowed her to connect individuals to impactful causes and advance organizations dedicated to making a difference. St. Joseph's/Candler Foundation is blessed to have her continue these efforts on behalf of the health system.
