Anne Cordeiro, M.A., CFRE, launches a consulting firm focused on helping nonprofit organizations strengthen their fundraising strategies, develop compelling grant proposals, and build sustainable systems for long-term growth. A seasoned fundraising professional with more than 20 years of experience, Cordeiro has worked extensively with mission-driven organizations across Coastal Georgia to secure and steward funding that supports meaningful community impact.
“I’ve seen firsthand how strong fundraising systems can transform an organization’s ability to serve its community,” said Cordeiro. “My goal is to help nonprofits build not just successful campaigns, but sustainable strategies that support their mission for years to come.”
In her consulting practice, Anne Cordeiro Consulting, she partners with organizations to strengthen their fundraising strategies, develop compelling grant proposals, and build sustainable systems for long-term growth.
Prior to launching her business, Cordeiro served as Vice President of Development for Senior Citizens, Inc. in Savannah, where she led comprehensive fundraising efforts through foundation grants, corporate partnerships, major gifts, direct mail, and events. She managed the full lifecycle of institutional funding from research and proposal development to reporting and compliance.
Earlier in her career, Cordeiro held leadership roles in healthcare philanthropy and communications, including Development Director at Memorial Health Foundation and Public Relations Manager at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA, as well as Director of Communication for Coastal Electric Cooperative, where she led marketing, public engagement, and managed a grant program for educators. She began her career in journalism, contributing to publications including the Savannah Morning News and the Coastal Courier, along with other Georgia publications, before transitioning into public relations and later fundraising.
Cordeiro holds a Master of Arts in Liberal and Professional Studies with a focus in leadership from Armstrong State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Communication from Wesleyan College, graduating magna cum laude and cum laude, respectively. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), a designation held by a select group of fundraising professionals committed to the highest standards of ethics and effectiveness.
An active community leader, Cordeiro serves as Foundation Chair for Rotary District 6920 and is a member of the Rotary Club of Savannah South. She is a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a member of the Bequest Society, PolioPlus Society, and a Hue Thomas Fellow, reflecting her deep commitment to The Rotary Foundation and the Georgia Rotary Student Program. She is also a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and the Savannah Estate Planning Council, where she serves on the board. She is passionate about helping organizations align their mission, programs, and funding strategies to create lasting impact in the communities they serve.
