Friday, May 15th, 2026

Jennifer Davenport, Vice President of Community Affairs and In-House Counsel for the Savannah Area Chamber, recently joined fellow community leaders for a panel discussion focused on how business, government, and nonprofit organizations can work together to strengthen Savannah.

Davenport was joined by Faye DiMassimo of the City of Savannah, Mia Mance of the Savannah Downtown Business Association, and other local leaders. Together, the panel explored the shared responsibility of building a thriving, connected community.

During the discussion, Davenport emphasized the Chamber’s role as a convener—bringing diverse voices to the table to align priorities, share data, and move important initiatives forward. From workforce development to quality-of-life issues, the conversation highlighted how cross-sector partnerships can create meaningful and lasting impact.

A special thanks to Vice President Darrell Naylor Johnson for convening the panel and for his continued commitment to strengthening partnerships between the Chamber and local businesses.

As Savannah continues to grow, collaboration becomes even more important. This panel served as a strong reminder that when business, government, and nonprofit leaders work together, the entire community benefits.
