The application window for the third cohort of Launch Savannah Minority Business Accelerator has been extended.
The announcement comes after organizers recognized requirements are more stringent this year; therefore, prospective participants could benefit from additional time to submit applications.
As part of the Mayor’s Small Business Conference during 2026 Savannah Small Business Week, courtesy of the City of Savannah Economic Development Department, the professional job development incubator has become an integral part of business growth for interested local proprietors.
Initially recommended by the City of Savannah Racial Equity and Leadership (REAL) Task Force, Launch Savannah has evolved into a 12-week, in-person, minority business accelerator program. The intensive course is designed to propel entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least one year who seek support for their growth potential. The 2026 session is June 30, through September 22. Courses are held each Tuesday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
The program accommodates up to 15 participants.
Minority-owned and women-owned businesses accepted into Launch Savannah will learn ways to expand their business acumen in the following focus areas: financial management, marketing/branding, government contracting readiness, and pitch development. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive an accelerator scholarship package for support services like accounting, marketing, legal, and other assistance to help move their business to the next level.
