Budweiser Clydesdales Visit Savannah for America 250 Parade
Monday, June 8th, 2026
The Budweiser Clydesdales made a stop in Savannah this week, drawing crowds to River Street for the America 250 Parade Saturday.
The visit coincides with two major milestones, America’s 250th anniversary and Budweiser’s 150th.
“This is a very huge celebration for all,” said Alec Smith, a Clydesdale handler. “So again, Budweiser’s 150th, America’s 250th, and just a great day out here in Savannah.”
Each weighing over 2,000 pounds, the iconic horses are part of the East Coast Hitch, one of three teams that travels nationwide.
The tour also highlights Budweiser’s partnership with Fods of Honor, a scholarship organization that supports the families of fallen or wounded service members and first responders.
