Visit Savannah and local hospitality partners recently attended the Georgia Society of Association Executives Annual Meeting, held May 27–29 in Athens, Georgia.

The GSAE Annual Meeting is the premier professional development and networking event for Georgia-based nonprofit executives and industry suppliers. The three-day conference is designed to advance the profession of association management through industry education, leadership training, and peer-to-peer relationship building.

For meetings sales teams, continuing education is an important part of staying competitive in a constantly evolving industry. Conferences like GSAE provide valuable insight into the needs and priorities of association executives, helping sales professionals better understand client expectations, emerging trends, and opportunities to position Savannah as a leading meetings destination. These learning opportunities also strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and industry partners who influence future meeting and convention business.
