After 40 years of family leadership, Harkleroad Diamonds is entering a new chapter as founder and longtime President and CEO Marion Harkleroad Jr. announces the transition of leadership to his son, Caleb Harkleroad, who was named president earlier this year. The milestone comes as the family-owned jeweler celebrates its 40th anniversary and continues its growth from its new 5,000-square-foot flagship showroom on Montgomery Cross Road.

“For the entirety of my life and in particular the last decade, I have seen and learned first hand what makes Harkleroad Diamonds successful. It's our visionary, Marion Harkleroad, and the people who help implement that vision, our incredible team, without whom we could do nothing! I am looking forward to applying the knowledge and experience I have gained from my dad to lead Harkleroad Diamond through its next 40 years and beyond,” shares Harkleroad Diamonds Vice President Caleb Harkleroad.

In his new leadership role, Harkleroad and his team of 10, including 5 sales associates, 2 office staff and 3 jewelers plan to grow their offerings as a luxury diamond and jewelry house and have brought on designers such as Single Stone and JB STAR. There will be a strong emphasis on relationships with current and new diamond suppliers to help keep their position as the diamond house in Savannah in both natural and lab grown diamonds. With an already robust philanthropic outreach, Harkleroad plans to increase community support and become a must-see destination for locals and visitors alike.
