Freehold Capital Management, a land management and real estate development company, announced today that Johnny Lynch has joined the company as Regional President for Florida and Georgia. Lynch brings nearly 30 years of real estate experience, including senior leadership roles at several of the nation’s largest homebuilders.
Florida and Georgia are dynamic, successful states for existing Freehold communities and remain priority markets for the company’s growing real estate portfolio. Freehold recently completed Savannah Quarters, a highly successful master-planned community in the Savannah region, further demonstrating the company’s long-standing investment and experience in the Georgia market. Lynch brings extensive leadership experience and well-established connections in the real estate development industry, assets that will help move Freehold Capital Management forward as it expands throughout the southeastern United States.
In his new role, Lynch will focus on identifying and evaluating new land and development opportunities, developing relationships with builders, and shaping regional strategy by identifying markets and opportunities where Freehold can have the greatest impact.
“Joining this team at such a pivotal moment for this region is a privilege. I’ve spent years getting to know this diverse and complex market and I’m thrilled to hit the ground running and help lead our expansion efforts across Florida and Georgia,” Lynch said.
Throughout his career, he’s held senior leadership positions with Firethorn, D.R. Horton, GreenPointe Communities, CalAtlantic Homes, Minto Communities, and Lennar. He’s a Florida native and earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. He holds an MBA from Florida Atlantic University.
