Get in the Game: Be Part of Banana Ball Playoff Weekend

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Wednesday, August 26th, 2026

The Banana Ball Playoffs are coming to Savannah Oct. 1–4, and Visit Savannah is inviting local businesses to get in on the action.

Learn how your business can participate — at no cost — during the upcoming Visit Savannah Opportunity Summit on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 9–10 a.m. at the Savannah Theatre, 222 Bull Street. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Businesses can create a special offer, host a watch party, decorate their storefront, or find other creative ways to welcome Banana Ball fans. Participating businesses will receive promotional support, inclusion on the free mobile pass and access to ready-to-use signage and social media templates.

The Banana Ball Playoffs cap the inaugural season of the Banana Ball Championship League, featuring the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, Loco Beach Coconuts, and Indianapolis Clowns. Playoff Weekend will take place at Historic Grayson Stadium.

The Opportunity Summit will also preview ways businesses can participate in upcoming initiatives surrounding the Allstate SEC Volleyball Tournament, Holly Days, Azalea Days, and more. Attendees will leave with a partner toolkit featuring campaign calendars, participation ideas, and marketing resources to help businesses plan ahead and capitalize on citywide promotional opportunities.
