An evening of hope, inspiration and purpose is on the way to Coastal Georgia as Love One Inc. hosts its Hope & Homes Dinner and Silent Auction at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 19 at the Richmond Hill City Center. The event will bring the community together to hear stories of lives transformed through foster care and adoption while learning how to help more children find safe, loving homes.

The Hope & Homes Dinner welcomes anyone passionate about foster care, curious about adoption, looking for ways to serve or simply interested in supporting vulnerable children and families. The event will feature a delicious dinner, silent auction and keynote address from Whitney Gilliard, who will share her inspiring story of hope and resilience.

Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased at loveoneinc.org or by emailing [email protected] by September 3, 2026. Table sponsorships are also available.

“Every child deserves more than a place to live—they deserve a place to belong,” said Dawn Fegel, executive director of Love One. “The Hope & Homes Dinner is an opportunity for our community to come together, shine a light on the need for foster and adoptive families, and be inspired to make a difference.”

She continued, “When we each do our part, we can help create safe, loving homes where children can heal, grow, and experience hope. It truly takes all of us to change the story for ONE child.”

Proceeds from the event will help Love One continue recruiting, training and supporting foster and adoptive families while providing practical resources and encouragement to those caring for children from hard places.

“We’re looking forward to partnering with Love One and supporting an organization that is making such a positive impact in our community,” said April Cameron, general manager of Richmond Hill City Center. “The Hope & Homes Dinner is a meaningful opportunity to bring people together around an important cause, and we’re proud to provide a welcoming space for an evening focused on hope, family and making a difference.”
