The Savannah Downtown Business Association (SDBA) will host an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the SCAD Lucas Theatre for the Arts at 32 Abercorn Street next week on Thursday, August 20, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m.

The event, part of the association's Business Behind the Scenes series, will give attendees a rare look at one of downtown Savannah's most iconic cultural landmarks. Guests will explore the rich history of the beautifully restored theater, visit areas rarely seen by the public, and learn how the SCAD Savannah Film Festival has become a significant economic driver for the region, drawing thousands of visitors, filmmakers, industry leaders, and creatives to downtown each year while supporting local hotels, restaurants, retailers, and small businesses.
