Visit Savannah Southeastern Sales Manager Tasha Singleton recently represented Savannah at Destination Southeast, Northstar Meetings Group’s hosted-buyer event held Aug. 9–11 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The event connects highly qualified meeting and incentive planners with destinations and hospitality partners from across the Southeast, including Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Virginia and other key regional markets.

Singleton completed 24 one-on-one appointments with professionals, providing opportunities to showcase Savannah’s expanding convention offerings, distinctive venues and hospitality experiences while building relationships that can generate future meetings and group business for the destination.

Hosted by Northstar Meetings Group’s Successful Meetings, Meetings & Conventions and Incentive brands, Destination Southeast also featured industry education and networking with planners and suppliers representing 12 Southeastern states.
